Our MethodologyWhether we are using a local team or a hybrid of onshore/offshore resources, Occam Global uses a series of best practices to create a competitive advantage. Our software development process is based on years of experience combined with the Project Management Institute's methodology for effective and timely delivery of projects. Our four main phases for software delivery consist of Discovery and Business Analysis, Production, Post Production, and Education. |
|
Discovery and Business Analysis are where all the requirements are gathered and documented for the project. If necessary, mockups and prototypes are delivered in this stage as well. Great effort is placed on this phase to ensure that adequate planning and preparation is done before production starts. This is similar to an architect finishing the blue prints before the construction crew starts building. Once final signoff is agreed upon with the main stakeholders, development begins. Milestones are delivered and channels of communication are kept open to ensure the client is always aware of how the project is progressing. Once production is done, the application is deployed to your in-house server. We assist with this as well as being on stand-by afterward should any problems arise. Our final stage is education. We ensure everyone using the application is
adequately trained with manuals as well as providing technical documentation
for technical resources to support the application or add additional features. |
